Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is an exciting town planning concept that will help to create more livable and environmentally friendly communities.
However, it can also be abused for personal gains and abuse by irresponsible developers if the approval process by city council is unclear and its procedures are non-transparent.
The approval for the TOD project to replace A&W has raised such suspicion and also shown the high handed manner which the MBPJ mayor has taken to push through the project.
